My forms are blocked. A sign says: "DO NOT MODIFY". I cannot update them and I cannot send them.
Solution: The sign "DO NOT MODIFY" appears as soon as you have sent your forms. It warns you that those forms cannot be modified because they are being checked by the National coordinator/Central Registry. If some of your forms are "blocked" it may be because you have sent them, but failed to reimport them after receiving the EURmail from your National coordinator. You just have to ask your National coordinator to resend you the blocked CRFs.
I activated the sending procedure but I cannot find any automatic message with attached EURmail.txt in my e-mail program.
Solution: Your e-mail program was probably closed when you tried to send your forms. Find the EURmail.txt in the "EURAP3" folder and attach it manually to a regular e-mail message.
An "importing failure" occurred when I imported my CRFs.
Solution: With this term we mean that you imported a wrong EURmail.txt, usually an earlier one. To avoid this common mistake:
Any time you save a EURmail.txt, the new one replaces the previous one. If you do not choose "SUBSTITUTE" you risk importing an old file.
A new local centre has just joined in but I cannot add it to my database.
Solution: You need to update your "TABLES" by adding a new field.
I have a duplicate of one of my pregnancies.
Solution: You have probably changed the ID of the pregnancy. If you modify the country code, centre code or number of the pregnancy you create a new ID and thus a new pregnancy. Please make sure never to change IDs or the three letters of the name. In this case, you should ask your National coordinator for assistance.
